Pacific Airlines launches 100,000 super-cheap tickets
From November 12, 2007 to May 31, 2008, this low cost airway will offer 100,000 super-cheap tickets at the price from VND15,000 ($0.9) per ticket to 50% of the normal airfares. Tickets of lowest airfares, VND15,000 and VND150,000/ticket ($0.9 and $9), will be distributed online only, via the firm’s website, www.pacificairlines.com.vn. Passengers can book and pay for the tickets by Visa, Master Card, JCB, American Express cards.
Tickets at the prices from VND350,000 to VND750,000 ($21 – 45) are sold on the website and at agents of Pacific Airlines.
The promotional programme is launched on the occasion of the debut of three local air routes from HCM City to Hue (as of December 1, 2007), to Hai Phong (as of December 21), and to Vinh (as of January 25, 2008).
The cheap and super-cheap tickets are applied for six local routes, including the three new air routes and from HCM City to Hanoi, Da Nang and Nha Trang.
According to a representative of Vietnam Airlines, the cheap tickets are in larger numbers for four air routes from HCM City to Hue, Hai Phong, Vinh and Nha Trang. The number of cheap tickets is restricted for flights taking off from HCM City during December 12 to February 7, 2008 (the lunar New Year).
International routes from HCM City to Bangkok and Singapore are not in the promotional programme.
This is the fourth and the largest promotional campaign of Pacific Airlines this year.
