Private hospitals opened in Can Tho City

Some private hospitals were set up in Can Tho City. They give more choices to the people who want to receive better health-care services while public hospitals have been overloaded.

At the moment, there are two private hospitals in Can Tho City: Hoan My Cuu Long Hospital and Tay Do Hospital. A better accommodation in these hospitals was proven by their new infrastructures, but their qualification is still a question when being compared to the price of their services.

The Hoan My Cuu Long Hospital was launched on October 27 in Can Tho City, the capital of Mekong Delta. This hospital, under the management of Cuu Long Medical Group, has a 500-bed capacity, with an investment of VND 1.1 billion (USD 68,750). There are 150 beds available in the first stage. This is the first private hospital with the most recent technologies to have been set up in the city.
